Functional ceramics for your home.

I’ve been working with clay since 1992, when I took a beginner’s class in Evergreen, CO. I couldn’t center my clay for the first several classes, until one day, on a whim, I reversed the wheel’s direction to clockwise, and was able to center and throw immediately, because I’m left-handed. I’ve pretty much had both hands in clay ever since. The main theme to my pottery is an emphasis on functional ware for eating, drinking and serving. My work is made with love and a continual fascination with the medium. I also make large urns and outdoor installations from time to time.
